Hello, ladies and gentlemen, here I will tell you where and how to order reviews for WOT (Web of Trust), sometimes also referred to as myWOT, as the abbreviation WOT is often associated with a popular game. Of course, WOT hasn’t gained much popularity, but some users still use this service, so it shouldn’t be dismissed. Of the general user base, it’s just 1-2%, but that’s still significant.

To develop the most effective strategy, it took me more than 4 months, but it was worth it. And I am sharing this information with you.

By the way, at the end of the page, I’ve placed a video instruction.

Price of Reviews on Web of Trust

First, a brief overview of the cost of reviews on WOT. Actually, there’s no strict moderation like on services such as Yandex or Avito, so the reviews will be a bit cheaper, but that doesn’t mean you can order them for 10 rubles (0,1$).

But you also won’t have to pay 200 rubles (2$) per review. In this table, I list the services where I ordered reviews, as well as the minimum prices and the actual prices you can expect to pay for the work to be done.

WOT and the Benefits of Reviews on It

If you are still unsure whether to order reviews for Web of Trust, let me clarify: the service is used by millions of people, including those from Russia and the CIS, Europa, Asia, so this service shouldn’t be overlooked.

This is what the search results look like for users of this service.

WOT green tags in search engine rankings
Marked with arrows

As you can see, there are two options:

  • Sites with good reviews are marked in green;
  • Sites without reviews or with few reviews are marked in gray.

Accordingly, for users of this browser extension, sites with a green label will look more attractive than those with a gray label. There’s also a red label, but that’s for dangerous sites that have predominantly bad reviews.

You can get a red label if your site’s reputation is tanked to zero, for example, if too many visitors accuse it of fraud or if competitors take action, this extension might display the following message to visitors:

Warning of a dangerous site in Web of Trust
Unpleasant, but probably

So, you need to work on your reputation in this service. Don’t let your site fall into the red zone.

You don’t want to let that happen

If your site is marked with a red label, it means the reviews about it are predominantly negative. And this needs to be corrected.

In general, those who have installed the Web of Trust plugin see search results a bit differently. And given that the number of WOT users is growing, it’s worth paying attention to them. Therefore, in this article, I’ll explain how to improve your reputation on WOT.

What to Pay Attention to When Working with Web of Trust

If you’re not interested in this, you can skip directly to the technical task outlined below, which is accurate and will allow you to quickly raise your rating and get the “Rated Safe by WOT” label. But if you’re interested in the principles of the WOT rating system, I recommend reading what I’ve written further.

I experimented with several sites and confirmed that WOT detects low-quality review boosting. At least, there are specific algorithms here that you’ll need to follow. Let’s start with the main task.

The first task is to get the “green label” that I showed earlier. And this is actually not very simple to do.

For example, this site has reviews, both good and bad.

Web of Trust ratings

But there’s no badge. I checked several sites and confirmed that just having reviews won’t solve the problem. A comprehensive approach is needed. And now, I’ll describe step-by-step what needs to be done to get the green badge.

So, if you look at other sites, you can see the following:

  1. There are a lot of “5” reviews.
  2. It’s quite possible that some of them might be real.
  3. High “Trustworthiness” and “Child Safety” ratings.
  4. But the coveted circle still doesn’t appear. Through experiments, I figured out why.

Let’s start with the reviews themselves. You can order a hundred 5-star reviews if you want. But this will hardly help.

Reviews in WOT

The rating will hardly increase. For example, for the site below, this is exactly the case. Lots of positive reviews, a few negative ones, but the rating is still low. And the site does not have the “Rated Safe by WOT” badge.

Web of Trust evaluation

My site, which has only 8 reviews, received this badge. So, let me explain.

How to Get the “Rated Safe by WOT” Badge

This green mark from Web of Trust is very important. WOT users see search results somewhat differently. And in some cases, the green label allows you to stand out among competitors.

A green circle makes your site stand out more prominently

As you can see, in some scenarios, having this badge will help you stand out from competitors, thereby getting a bit more traffic.

But getting this badge is not so simple. Boosting reviews for WOT in this case will not be the deciding factor. Let’s look at what needs to be done to get this badge.

First, install the Web of Trust browser plugin, then open your site in the search. Just enter your site address in the search and click on the circle next to it.

Now you need to claim ownership of the site. To do this, click this button:

Claiming site rights in WOT

Then follow the instructions. It’s quite simple, you just need to add a meta tag to the header and that’s it. I noticed that it’s much harder for unverified sites to get the “Rated Safe by WOT” badge. So it’s better to do this.

Next, we move on. Previously, you could request a site review from the community, but now you can’t do that. Your site will be automatically checked by the WOT algorithm. And if the algorithm decides that it is safe, you will get the rating. But I noticed that this feature doesn’t work without reviews. You need 5 to 10 reviews for the algorithm to start checking. This is especially noticeable on new sites. Older sites sometimes get the green badge without any reviews, but it’s not guaranteed. So, you’ll need to order 5-10 reviews.

You might have to boost reviews since it’s hard to get them naturally. But it needs to be done correctly.

Principles of Boosting Reviews on myWOT

Reviews on Web of Trust work a bit peculiarly. In general, each user has their own “weight”. Let’s look at a typical account in this system.

Web of Trust Rating Points
Typical rating system

As you can see, each user has a rating. Newcomers have a rating of zero, and those who leave reviews have a higher rating. Based on the activity rating, a certain level is assigned to the user. There are several levels.

WOT user ranks

The more points you have and the higher your level, the more trust the system places in your review.

Accordingly, reviews from newcomers don’t add much to the rating and don’t hold much value for the system, so your site’s rating doesn’t increase, and the system doesn’t have a reason to check your site for safety.

In general, to make your site “safe according to WOT,” you need to boost the rating using users who have a high rating. Unfortunately, there aren’t many of them. At least, I only encountered users with the silver rank four times. Of course, there are users with high ratings, but it’s often unrealistic to order reviews from them for WOT. So, you have to settle for users with the Bronze level.

Web of Trust also has a concept called Rating Reliability, which doesn’t depend on the activity rating. This parameter essentially reflects the level of trust in the user leaving the review. You can’t know in advance if a user is trusted or not.

Thus, even with high activity, the system may not trust the user. However, you can’t determine this precisely, so you have to rely on the activity rating, as it increases your chances of getting the green badge and a high rating for your site.

During experiments, I confirmed that accounts with low activity levels hardly add to the rating. For example, reviews from users with a rating of 0 add nothing at all.

Feedback in WOT from a

After publishing this review, the site’s rating didn’t change at all. Thus, the review is completely useless.

However, a review from a person with 366 points added 0.2 to my rating—not much, but better than 0.

Account with a small amount of rating in WOT

Therefore, you need to get reviews from those who have been active on the site. If the previous activity was zero, you definitely won’t get the green badge or a high rating.

Based on the observations, I compiled a technical task that will help get the green badge for the site, as well as raise the rating and parameters “Trustworthiness” and “Child Safety”.

Technical Assignment for Ordering Reviews for myWOT

So, through experiments, I developed the following technical assignment (TA), which will allow you to boost the rating on Web of Trust as effectively as possible. Of course, it took more than 4 months of experiments, but it was worth it.

The main thing is not to boost a lot of reviews at once; it doesn’t work. Even sites with tens of thousands of daily visitors get 1-2 reviews a month. For example, Pikabu, which has millions of visitors.

Number of reviews in WOT about Pikabo

It may not get any reviews for several months. And WOT understands this perfectly. So don’t rush. It’s most effective to order 1-2 reviews per month. I tried more on some projects, but it doesn’t work. So, there’s no point in spending more money on ordering reviews for WOT if the time to get the “green badge” won’t be shortened.

Additionally, it’s advisable to change the TA for each review. For example, instead of Yandex, the user should come from Google, and also change the keywords in the TA. Of course, I didn’t find a clear correlation between the TA and the site’s rating, but it’s better to be cautious and change the technical assignment for each new review.

Having settled on the quantity and timing, now to the TA, which will be as follows:

Hello, this task is only for those who have the Web of Trust (WOT) browser extension installed, with at least 1500 activity points on their account and a rank not lower than Bronze. The task is as follows:

  1. Enter the query “Here is your query” in the Yandex search engine. Without quotation marks.
  2. On the first (or second) page of results, find the site workinnet.ru and go to it. Spend some time on the site, then close the page and return to the search results.
  3. Next to the site you visited, click on the green circle to go to the WOT rating.
  4. Rate it 5 stars. Leave a review like “The article on the site was helpful, it solved my problem”. Write it in your own words. Be sure to mark it as a “Good site”.
  5. After leaving a review, send the task for verification. Once I see the review is posted, I will approve the task.

Note that if you have fewer activity points or a lower rank than specified in the technical assignment, I won’t accept the work. So, follow the TA, and if you don’t meet the requirements, don’t take on the task.

That’s it, the technical assignment is complete. When ordering the next review, don’t forget to change the TA. Of course, you can add screenshots for step-by-step instructions. For example, like this:

Mark
Click on this circle, and then click on “View full report”.
Web of Trust rating and
Evaluation and marking of the Good Site

That’s all the work, nothing complicated. But keep in mind, always ask that the person has not only activity points but also a rank of Bronze or higher. For example, spammers in WOT can have many activity points, but since the system doesn’t trust them, their rank remains Rookie.

Highly rated Web of Trust account
Although it should have had a Broze rank, the system did not assign it due to spamming

I recommend ordering not only 5-star reviews but also 4-star ones, as the rating grows faster and the likelihood of getting the green badge next to the site is higher. So, you definitely don’t need only 5-star reviews.

But always make sure they mark it as a “Good site,” then the chances of getting higher trustworthiness and child safety ratings increase.

WOT credentials
These are the ones

So, use the TA, don’t just boost 5-star reviews, and your rating will be higher, and the “green badge” will appear.

Now, I’ll explain where you can find “specialists” to carry out this delicate task.

Where to Order Reviews for WOT

So, there aren’t that many Web of Trust users in the CIS, making it challenging to find performers with a high number of activity points and a high rank. Some companies do “pump” WOT accounts for themselves, but their prices are not pleasing. Therefore, I decided to use an old reliable service.

I decided to use QComment. The platform allows ordering in English and has both Russian and English interfaces. You can top up using USDT TRC-20 and bank cards.

Of course, there aren’t many Web of Trust users here either, but it’s quite possible to order reviews. Given that there’s no need to rush, and there’s no point in ordering more than 1-2 reviews per month anyway, you can wait until a suitable performer appears.

So, the link is above. You need to register, then click on the profile button and select the “Customer” option.

Next, click on the “Create Project” button.

Create a project for ordering reviews in WOT on QComment

A window will appear in front of you, click on the “Comments, reviews, forum filling” button.

Selecting the type of tasks for ordering reviews in Web of Trust on QComment

Now we move on to preparing the project. The first page will be the main one.

Campaign parameters on QComment for ordering reviews for WOT

Here you need to specify the title, topic, and language in which the review will be published. In the right column, select the “With minimum publication guarantee” rate. This means that if the review does not pass moderation, you will not be charged. However, I haven’t seen a review on WOT not pass yet.

A reasonable price: 90 rubles or $0.9-1, but preferably a little more, so the task gets picked up faster. It’s better to prepare the review text in advance and send it to the performer to publish.

Authors with a rank of Bronze and above, as well as with activity points, won’t take on the task for less money.

Also, publish the above technical assignment in the “Task for authors” section, but edit it to suit your needs.

Now let’s move on. In the “Additional” tab, leave everything as is.

Now go to the “Restrictions” section.

Here, be sure to specify no more than 1 review in 30 days; you will still change the TA after the review is published. Also, set the author limit to “1” so that the same author cannot take the task repeatedly.

Below, set the “Maximum authors who started” to no more than one.

Great. You don’t need to touch the rest unless you want to specify a particular country in the “Geotargeting” section, but there’s no need for that. Now scroll down a bit and click the “Create Project” button.

That’s it, after publishing the project, click the “Pay” button and pay for no more than one job at a time.

Ready project for ordering Web of Trust reviews

Done, a performer won’t appear immediately; usually, you have to wait a couple of days since there aren’t many WOT users.

Of course, there are other platforms that can help with boosting reviews for WOT, but unfortunately, there are even fewer Web of Trust users on those, so you have to wait a couple of weeks for someone to take on the task.

So, there are practically no alternatives in this case.

Forward to the rating!

I’ve told you how to order reviews for myWOT. There’s nothing complicated about it; the main thing is not to rush. Even if you have a lot of money and can boost many reviews at once, there’s no point. 1-2 reviews per month, monthly expenses of 150-300 rubles ($1.5-3), depending on the rank of the performers you choose. And that’s it, no need to overpay.

Yes, it will take 2-4 months to get the “green badge,” but even if you hurry, this process won’t speed up.

On that note, I must take my leave. I wish you success and an impeccable reputation!
